I have worked as director in theatre and music theatre sin my first debut 1987, directing 40+ theatre and music theatre/opera productions and doing script work for stage and radio, as well as directed artistic landscape events both in Sweden and internationally. My work is characterised by a strong development focus and interdisciplinary approach as well as an interest in developing performing arts’ interaction with the audience and society. I often use new text and music.
I have built up and lead the performing art operations Mellby Performing Art and Himlabacken (Heavens hill) for 20 years, as director and artistic leader. Furthemore I have worked as director on freelance basis at theatre and opera institutions in Sweden, like Riksteatern, Stockholms Stadsteater, Folkteatern Göteborg, Malmö Opera, Norrlands Operan, regional theatres, independent tehatre groups and the Radio Theatre. Outside Sweden I have worked with Theater Vorpommern, Germany, Cultural Center Monastery Tibaes och ESMAE, Portugal, Modern Museum of Art och Escial superior Celia Helena, ESCH, Brazil.
